This volume comprises the group of battles that the author perceived as glorious. The author was enchanted with the grandeur, passion, and fire of action given by the battles. There were different battles in world history corresponding to these criteria. They included the Siege of Plevna, the Storming of Burkersdorf Heights, Swede's Campaigns in Leipzig and Lutzen, and several others.
